NEARBY VILLAGES AND TOWNS Casa Bella Vista is just 1.6 kms (1 mile) from the nearest village of Valle Grande with a local shop and bar, and 3 kms (2 miles) from the medieval fortified hillside town of Picinisco. Villa Latina, 4 kms (2.5 miles) distant, is the nearest larger village with many shops, supermarket, chemist, butchers, bakers, hardware shops, 24-hour petrol station, restaurants, bars, cafes and takeaways. Atina (pictured, right) is a busy market town just 10 minutes away by car (9 kms / 5.5 miles), which offers a superb Monday morning market and local shops of all types, from garden centres to gift shops and everything in between. Valle Grande, Villa Latina and Atina are all favourite stops for morning coffee, and at just 1 euro, it is less than half the cost of a cup of coffee in the UK - even with a strong euro.
